Member service representative
We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic, hard-working individual able to prioritize a variety of styles of work in our fitness facility. Excellent customer service skills and an ability to communicate verbally, non-verbally and in writing are essential. Workday is typically a solo shift but we encourage a team atmosphere that supports each other and helps out when and where ever to continually build everyone up. Positivity and inclusivity are essential elements.
This is an early morning position with a 5am start and the ability to pick up some weekend shifts and vacation/sick coverage. The role involves member interactions such as welcoming everyone who enters the gym, touring and discussing different membership types with members and guests.
Computer skills require completion of selling memberships and a variety of retail items, inventory management and document tracking.
Key points of this position will be member relations, facility cleaning, answering phone calls and taking appropriate actions, making smoothies, front desk attendance, light laundry and maintaining front desk, pro shop, restrooms and workout areas.
Basic math skills, computer skills and the ability to learn new computer programs are required.
Retail cash handling experience an asset.
